Welcome to the CUATS Gala 2022 - our flagship event of the year! Join us in this unique networking and career event focussed on quant finance.
CUATS is excited to organising its first Gala!
This formal, black-tie evening event is an unique opportunity for students who are seriously considering a career in quant finance to meet experienced quant researchers, traders, developers, and hiring managers from leading hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, market makers, asset managers, and banks.
It will take place in the Keynes Library of the Cambridge Union Society at 9A Bridge Street, Cambridge CB2 1UB.
The agenda of the Gala will be:
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wine and canapes networking reception
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm Three-course menu dinner with paired company executives and quant researchers/traders
You will have the opportunity to indicate your itnerests and preferences which will help to pair you with the most appropriate company for dinner.
Sponsor companies include: Jane Street, Five Rings, SIG, Citadel, D.E. Shaw, FlowTraders, IMC, and others.
Spaces are limited. Book your place early to avoid disappointment.
Note: registration is not a guarantee of attending the dinner. You will be contacted after registration to fill in a questionnaire and to optionally submit a CV for consideration. Should spaces for dinner be filled, a partial refund will be processed for applicants to attend the networking reception only.

The Cambridge University Algorithmic Trading Society (CUATS) is the first student society in Cambridge to promote the understanding of algorithms and their applications in financial trading. CUATS aims to provide interdisciplinary education of algorithm development and the basics of financial investment strategies. In the forms of workshops, networking sessions and tutorials (code writing of your own investment strategies), we wish to provide our members the necessary skills and the many opportunities to pursue a career in the financial industry as well as in the big data industry.
